Ludwig Satz and Celia
Adler were good friends in real life. They even were
neighbors for a time in the Sea Gate section of
Brooklyn. Here they played together at the Town Hall
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the Yiddish
"mystery comedy," "Blind Husbands."
The show opened on
September 23, 1941. The play was written by Harry
Kalmanowitch.
