Born in 1897 in Warsaw,
Poland.
His father was a
haberdashery leather manufacturer, who had love for the
Yiddish theatre, and G. was often accustomed to being
taken there with him. This developed in him a strong
desire for the stage.
G. had increased this
studies, had acted and was introduced to other Yiddish
actors and left with them to wander across the
"medina", and thus he acted in Yiddish theatre
across the various cities and shtetls of greater
Poland.
During the
Second World War, he was captured and placed in a ghetto by the
Nazis, and was killed there.
Sh. E. from Meir Melman.
